Myles Aaron A Dunson

All About Me

I’m Myles Aaron Dunson, a multimedia journalist and sportswriter. I’m currently a graduate student at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where I focus on sports reporting, digital production and long-form storytelling. My training emphasizes accuracy, deadline writing and platform-specific content.

Before Cronkite, I worked as a camera operator covering college athletics at Tennessee State University and as a staff writer for Atlanta Black Star. I wrote more than 250 articles for the outlet, covering breaking news, actor profiles and social commentary. My reporting contributed to increased site traffic and audience engagement across multiple verticals.

I now serve as a beat reporter for AZPreps365, where I cover Verrado High School sports in Buckeye, Arizona. I produce game recaps, coach and player interviews, and community-focused features that highlight the energy and relevance of prep sports. Working on a deadline has sharpened my ability to find strong angles quickly and report with clarity.

I’m driven by solid reporting and the connection between sports and storytelling. With experience across print, video and digital platforms, I’m ready to bring my skills to a full-time role in sports journalism, whether on the sideline, in the newsroom or behind the camera.
